Laminar Research - make clear statements about releases please X-Plane So this very unusual and bad habit of Laminar Research has come to my attention, at which something goes very sideways when it comes to let people know which version of the simulator is finished and released, and which it is not. Instead of posting the release of X-Plane 12.1 to their Release Notes page (Link), they decided to post it on Facebook:  Then, after me pointing out the fact that the Release Notes page is in a pretty bad shape and does not outline final releases, I am met with this:  And, of course, the Release Notes page continues to show this as of the time of this writing:  As you can see, no mention of a final release. Let me show you how a release note including a definite version has to look like:  |
