These instructions are the same for every complete tile available for download.

X-World / X-World Pro

As a very strong recommendation, download and install X-World Europe from simHeaven and add it to your Scenery folder. This library adds buildings, roads, forests etc. into your scenery using current OSM data - the same dataset I use. For Orthographic to achieve the looks as you see in the screenshots, and for 3D geometry to match my renders, X-World is a requirement.

Once extracted to your Custom Scenery folder, it will also need to be added to your scenery_packs.ini file.

Overlays

These are not strictly required to complement the scenery of Orthographic, but are pulled from X-Plane 12's global scenery files.

1. Download the Overlay package from the Tile Cache
2. Extract the overlay archive
3. If not done already, move the extracted folder "yOrthographic_Overlays" into your Custom Scenery folder

Note: The overlays get updated as soon as the tile collection is growing.

Orthographic Scenery

1. Download the desired latitude-longitude tile from the store
2. Unzip the archive
3. If not done already, move the extracted folder "zOrthographic_XXXXX" into your Custom Scenery folder

Patch files

If you find a file with the name zOrthographic_+XX+XXX_Patch.zip in the attachments, it means a small change was made to the tile after initial rendering.

Download the zip with the patch and extract it into the corresponding scenery folder, overwriting the existing files.

Order of Scenery in your scenery_packs.ini file

1. Add the "yOrthographic_Overlays" folder at the very end of the list
2. Add the "zOrthographic_XXXXX" BELOW the overlays folder, so that it appears at the very end of the list
3. Save the file
